I and my friends recently launched a podcast about being a migrants. We’re all migrants (from Canada, UK, US, and Australia). We wanted to make a podcast to talk about the trials and triumphs of women and LGBTQ+ migrants making a home away from home. Here we talk about our lives as migrants and how we navigate being women and LGBTQ of colour while learning new cultures, languages, and dealing with the weight that comes with being a migrant.
Our first episode is about Paskong Pinoy, mga namimiss (at hindi namimiss) natin sa Pilipinas tuwing Pasko, Christmas traditions sa ibang bansa, at ang pressure sa mga OFW na magpadala ng balikbayan boxes/pera padala tuwing kapaskuhan.
