Last year I wrote some case studies for the Green Economy Coalition about small local green enterprises and the barriers they face in accessing finance. Our case studies explore how to unlock the power of local green businesses for global sustainable development. The report focuses on India, Peru, Senegal, South Africa, Mongolia, and Trinidad and Tobago. I learned about green MSME’s and how they can transform economies to being more sustainable, but also the barriers they face in accessing finance to help them grow and thrive as a business. This report was launched today!
